Thank you for your donation today!
Hope for Orphans-Congo is able to bring hope to the children in the Democratic Republic of Congo through donations such as yours. The children at the orphanage in Kikamata appreciate people like you and all you are doing for them. They may never meet you but they can still feel your love from a distance and would like to say, "Thank you", "Merci" and "Asante" in Swahili and God bless you.
Please view the video above. These are just children having a good time but it wasn't too long ago that they experienced the loss of their father and mother. Because of Hope for Orphans-Congo these children can smile again. They have had their hope restored. They look forward to the future because they know that there are people who care for them. People they have never seen and will probably never see in their lifetime give so that hope can be restored to them. Our staff tell us that the children pray for the people in Canada who give to help them to alive.
There are still so many children who need help, someone to help restore their hope for a brighter future. Will you be that person? Will you give? Will you tell others about this charity that is doing something awesome for the orphaned children in the Democratic Republic of Congo?
There are over 3 million orphaned children in the DRC because of civil war, disease and poor nutrition. We may not be able to help all 3 million but we like to think like the boy in the Starfish Story who was chided by a man saying, "how can you possibly make a difference, there are so many starfish on the beach dying, He picked up a starfish and threw it as far as he could into the ocean and said, "I made a difference for that one."
