​Traveling to the village of Kikamata to see the children is always an adventure!

The "road" passes right through this river. Thankfully we made it across going and coming!

These ruts are nothing compared to others!

Oh no! this truck has broken an axle and is blocking our way. Will we have to turn back or wait for the truck to be moved?? If you look on the right-hand side there is another truck that decided to go up the bank and around the truck.

The children were so excited about us coming that they walked six kms to meet us on the road and it was raining!!! Here are some of the children and staff welcoming us. The places in the background are houses in the clinic compound where the workers and their families live.

Now THIS truck is stuck. Thankfully these men were able to get it unstuck and we were able to go the same path!!
